Open letter to President Obama: Have a moral spine

I posted this on the White House web site. Please Make sure that you express your opinion to your elected officials so we, Americans, do not miss a good chance to do the right thing.
(Contact info and suggested text are at the end of this posting)
Sooner or later, 'our' dictator allies in the Middle East will fall.  The people there remember very well who was with them, and who was with the dictators.

I encourage President Obama and the White House for once to take a moral stand WITH the people not with the criminal dictators in Cairo.

At this point, our administration has been disappointing in its response, and is clearly trying to play a game that does not commit them one way or the other.  Stand for those who love freedom,or we, in the USeshould never wonder why they 'over there' hate us in the future. None of us, regardless of religion or nationality, thinks highly of those who help crush out dreams.

Come out to tell the dictators - that we supported in so many ways - that they need to go.

Like so many, I votes for your administration because I felt it would factor justice and morality in decision making more than it would factor material and political profit/loss.

Please stand up to the expectations.

Khaled

I encourage President Obama and the Congress, for once, to take a moral stand WITH the people not with the criminal dictators in Cairo
At this point, our administration has been disappointing in its response, and is clearly trying to play a game that does not commit them one way or the other, or in the case of VP Biden and the early comments of Secretary of State Clinton, we conclusively supported the dictator and his regime.

Stand for those who love freedom, or we, in the US should never wonder why they 'over there' hate us in the future.

None of us, regardless of religion or nationality, thinks highly or fondly of those who help crush out dreams.
Come out to tell the dictators - that we supported in so many ways - that they need to go.

As a nation, we should, at least occasionally, factor justice and morality in decision making more than we factor material and political profit/loss.  Political expediency IS moral bankruptcy.

Please stand up to the expectations.
